IRVINE, Calif., June 19, 2013 /PRNewswire/ --In today's J.D. Power and
Associates' 2013 Initial Quality Study (IQS), the iconic MX-5 Miata sports car
and the Mazda2 subcompact both receive awards for the highest initial quality
in their respective segments. Additionally, Mazda5 ranked second in its
segment. This is the seventh time in eight years that MX-5 has rated highest
in its segment.

have outstanding initial quality, and to retain that quality long after the

Sub-Compact Car segment, the first time it has taken the highest ranking.

Multi-Purpose Vehicle class.

83,000 purchasers and lessees of new 2013 model-year cars, trucks and
