 SAIC Appoints Mark Schultz as General Counsel for the Technical Services and
                        Information Technology Segment

MCLEAN, Va., June 19, 2013 /PRNewswire/ --Science Applications International
Corporation (SAIC) (NYSE: SAI) today announced it has appointed Mark Schultz
as General Counsel for the Technical Services and Information Technology
segment, effective June 24. Schultz will serve as executive vice president
and general counsel for the planned company to be named SAIC following the
company's planned separation into two independent, publicly traded companies,
as announced Aug. 30, 2012.

Schultz brings nearly 30 years of industry legal experience to SAIC. He
specializes in technology, finance and corporate governance and has served as
the chief legal and risk officer and corporate secretary for MWH Global, Inc.
Prior to MWH, Mark worked in senior legal executive roles for SRA
International and Raytheon's Missile Systems business. He was also a partner
for global law firms Sidley Austin and Perkins Coie in Japan and the U.S.,
where he oversaw legal strategies supporting large-scale financing and
construction projects for multiple industries.

He holds a bachelor's degree in economics and foreign service from Alma
College in Alma, Mich., and graduated magna cum laude from Harvard Law
School.
