PARIS, June 18, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- PARIS AIR SHOW -- LATAM Airlines has
selected Pratt & Whitney PurePower PW1100G-JM engines to power its order of 42
firm A320neo family aircraft. Pratt & Whitney is a division of United
Technologies Corp. (NYSE:UTX).

This agreement includes a 12-year Fleet Management Plan. PurePower engine
deliveries are expected to begin in 2016. Each LATAM Airbus A320neo family
aircraft will be powered by two PurePower PW1100G-JM engines with benefits
including double-digit reductions in fuel burn, environmental emissions,
engine noise and operating costs.
