Burbank, CA – June 17, 2013 – Legendary Entertainment has announced today that highly accomplished entertainment and media executive Bruce Rosenblum has been appointed President of Legendary Television and Digital Media, the company’s division charged with producing programming across multiple linear and non-linear “on-demand” platforms on a global basis, as well as the development of global multi-platform digital distribution opportunities for broadband, mobile and emerging technologies. The announcement was made by Thomas Tull, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Legendary Entertainment, to whom Rosenblum will report.

Rosenblum’s appointment marks the expansion of the Legendary Television and Digital Media division. In this role, Rosenblum will oversee Legendary’s business model for the initiative as the company looks to deploy its signature content across multiple formats and devices.

“Bruce has an outstanding track record in the business, and he will be instantly additive to the team in our efforts to continue to make world-class content for consumers, however and wherever they access that content. We are pleased to have him join Legendary and look forward to working together to continue to build value for the company,” said Tull.

Rosenblum brings to Legendary nearly three decades of experience as a leader and pioneer in the entertainment industry identifying, and deploying strategies to produce and distribute content around the world. He most recently served as President of the Warner Bros Television Group, where he oversaw the entire Warner Bros. portfolio of television businesses, including worldwide production, traditional and digital distribution globally, and broadcasting. While at Warner Bros., Rosenblum oversaw and defined the company’s television business, which consistently contributed half of Warner Bros. Entertainment’s profits year after year.

Throughout his career, Rosenblum has developed new business models for the evolving television landscape and has led the television industry in supporting the growth of on-demand access to programming in a manner that supports broadcast and cable networks.

Rosenblum is currently Chairman and CEO of the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, where he has served since January 2012. He received his juris doctor degree from the University of California, Los Angeles, and his bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Southern California.
