SAN DIEGO, June 17, 2013

SAN DIEGO, June 17, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- BioMed Realty Trust, Inc. (NYSE: BMR)
today announced that its board of directors has declared a second quarter 2013
dividend of $0.235 per share of common stock. The dividend is equivalent to an
annualized dividend of $0.94 per common share.

The common stock dividend is payable on July 15, 2013 to stockholders of
record at the close of business on June 28, 2013.
