The World Excellence Awards recognize suppliers who not only achieve the highest level of cost competitiveness, quality and delivery, but also acknowledge the diverse cultures, values and ideas of the thousands of individuals they employ. GKN was the only company honored with three awards at the ceremony, which was held at Ford's Global Headquarters in Dearborn Michigan and attended by executives from Ford Motor Company and their top suppliers. Two GKN Driveline plants were honoured with World Excellence Awards, GKN Driveline Newton and Shanghai GKN (SDS).
