Business Wire

SAN JOSE, Calif. -- June 11, 2013

Immersion Corporation (Nasdaq:IMMR), the leading developer and licensor of
touch feedback technology, today announced that the recently released docomo
AQUOS PHONE ZETA SH-06E manufactured by Sharp includes Immersion’s haptics
technology. The smartphone includes Immersion’s TouchSense® and Integrator
software and is Sharp’s first device to market under its new license agreement
with Immersion.

“We are happy to be working closely with Sharp to create more intuitive and
compelling user experiences by tightly integrating touch effects with the rich
visual and audio experiences available in Sharp’s FEEL UX,” explains Dennis
Sheehan, Immersion’s senior vice president of sales and marketing. “We’re
pleased to add Sharp to our growing list of licensees in Japan, and look
forward to future collaboration where we can offer thoughtful haptic design
and integration to further enhance the AQUOS PHONE experience and bring our
advanced touch feedback technology to additional Sharp products.”

The AQUOS PHONE ZETA SH-06E is available in Japan through NTT docomo. The
AQUOS PHONE ZETA SH-06E’s screen is an FHD resolution IGZO screen which does
not only provide high-quality images, but its unique low power consumption
technology makes a significant contribution to the product’s battery life
which can last for up to more than 2 days. The f/1.9 camera lens which allows
for taking crisp photos, and a music player with high audio quality and
extended playing time are also pleasant additions for making the AQUOS PHONE
ZETA SH-06E an overall high-end phone that meets the needs of the modern day
mobile user.
