Vestar Installs ECOtality Electric Vehicle Charging Stations

Eight Blink Charging Systems Installed at Tempe Marketplace

SAN FRANCISCO, June 10, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- ECOtality, Inc.
(Nasdaq:ECTY), a leader in clean electric transportation, today announced that
Vestar recently placed electric charging stations at their award-winning
entertainment and retail lifestyle center, Tempe Marketplace, in Tempe,
Arizona. Through this partnership, eight Blink charging systems, including
handicapped accessible units, have been placed on both the north and south
side of the center. These installations are part of Vestar's already
well-established GreenSTAR initiative, the Southwest's first large-scale
commitment to sustainable shopping center techniques.

The Blink Network of charging stations provides EV drivers the freedom to
travel as they choose and conveniently charge at Blink commercial locations
along the way, including Tempe Marketplace.
