Warren East of ARM Holdings Receives Morgan Stanley Leadership Award
for Global Commerce

Honors Program -- honoring and documenting visionary applications of
information technology moving businesses forward and benefiting
society -- announces the 2013 21st Century Achievement Award winners
recognized during last night's award ceremony. One Laureate from each
of the eleven categories was singled out for special recognition by
the Program Judges as the best in their category. In all, 267
Laureates from more than 25 countries were honored. 
In recognition of the 25th anniversary of the Computerworld Honors
Program, Vinton Cerf, Vice President and Chief Internet Evangelist
from Google, addressed the audience, congratulating the 2013 Laureate
class for harnessing technology's immense potential to benefit

Several individuals were also recognized during the ceremony for their
innovative use of technology. 
The Morgan Stanley Leadership Award for Global Commerce, which
recognizes an individual whose personal leadership has made a
critical contribution to the effective use of information technology
throughout the world, was presented to Warren East, CEO of ARM
The CIO Executive Council's Engaging Youth in IT award honored Cora
Carmody, SVP of IT, Jacobs Engineering Group Inc., for multiple
interactive approaches to interest young people in all aspects of
science, technology, engineering and math (STEM); ranging from
long-standing initiatives for K-12 students, to internships, to a
four-year apprentice program, to Jacobs' "STEM ambassadors" operating
around the world.
