WALWORTH, Wis. -- June 3, 2013

Kikkoman Foods Inc., subsidiary of Kikkoman Corp., the world’s largest
producer of naturally brewed soy sauce, today announced that it will host a
news conference to announce a major gift of statewide and national
significance.

When:      Friday, June 7, 2 p.m.

           Kikkoman’s honorary CEO and chairman of the board of directors,
What:      Yuzaburo Mogi, will announce a gift by the company of statewide and
           national importance.

           After the announcement, all the participants in the
           Wisconsin-U.S.-Japan economic development conference, which begins
           at 3 p.m. and is open to the news media, will be available to
           answer questions on topics related to the conference.

           Both the awarding of the gift and the economic development
           conference are taking place as part of Kikkoman’s celebration of
           the 40th anniversary of its Walworth, Wis., soy sauce plant, now
           the largest naturally brewed soy sauce factory in the world.
