WESTLAKE, Ohio -- May 30, 2013

TravelCenters of America LLC (TravelCenters), operator of the TA® and Petro
Stopping Centers® travel center brands, has presented a BP Fueling Communities
grant donation of $30,000 to the St. Christopher Truckers Development & Relief
Fund (SCF), a nonprofit organization that provides direct assistance to
professional truck drivers whose medical problems have led to financial
hardship. TravelCenters, a BP Branded Marketer, submitted the grant nomination
for the SCF, which BP awarded for the third consecutive year.

The BP Fueling Communities program provides grants to local organizations that
are nominated by BP’s Branded Marketers to support the communities in which
they do business. Fueling Communities gives back to local organizations that
support health, education, youth, food and housing, to spread charity and
goodwill.

“We are thrilled that BP’s Fueling Communities program has again awarded the
SCF this grant, totaling $90,000 over the last three years,” said Tom O’Brien,
TravelCenters President and CEO. “SCF is near and dear to our heart and the
hearts of our customers. It’s wonderful to be able to help professional
drivers with financial burdens they are facing due to illness,” he added.

TravelCenters has provided support to the SCF since 2010 through the company’s
annual “Band Together for the SCF” fundraising campaign, as well as smaller
collection efforts at tradeshows and employee events throughout the year. To
date, TravelCenters has helped raise more than $800,000 for the charity.
During this time, the SCF has provided financial support to more than 700
professional drivers for prescription medications, living expenses, and
medical procedures.

“I can’t thank TravelCenters and the BP Fueling Communities program enough for
the nominations and approvals of these grants for three years,” said Dr. Donna
Kennedy, Executive Director of the SCF. “The grant monies have greatly
impacted the help we’ve been able to give drivers in need.”

Professional drivers can look forward to making donations to the SCF at the
TravelCenters booth at this year’s Truckers’ Jamboree at the TA in Walcott,
Iowa, July 11-13; the Expedite Expo in Wilmington, Ohio, July 26-27; and the
Great American Trucking Show in Dallas, August 22-24. The 2013 ‘Band Together
for SCF’ campaign will run during August, where drivers can donate $1 or more
at TA and Petro locations and receive a commemorative wristband. Donations to
the SCF can also be made directly at www.truckersfund.org or by calling
877-332-GIVE.
