PORTLAND, Ore. -- May 22, 2013

Consumer Cellular (www.consumercellular.com), the number one rated cellphone
service for the third consecutive year and exclusive wireless provider for
AARP members, has been awarded a prestigious Partners in Transformation award
from Sears Holdings Corporation. Consumer Cellular received the award in the
electronics category by driving impressive cellphone sales growth for the
retailer over the past year.

The Partners in Transformation award recognizes top-performing vendors and
suppliers who have been helping support the transformation of Sears through
innovation around customers, core retail excellence, and financial and
operational discipline. Of the more than 30,000 suppliers that work with
Sears, less than one half of a percent have the privilege of receiving this
award.

“Sears is an iconic retail brand that has earned a strong reputation among its
customers for providing quality products and customer service,” said John
Marick, CEO of Consumer Cellular. “We’re honored to be recognized for helping
them build on that reputation with our products and services, and we look
forward to continued success at Sears locations.”

Consumer Cellular currently sells four of its cellphone models at 750 Sears
stores nationwide: the Huawei 8800 and 8652 smartphones, the senior-friendly
Doro PhoneEasy® 618 flip phone, and the entry-level Motorola WX416 feature
phone. The Samsung Galaxy Exhilarate smartphone will become available in June.
Sales of Consumer Cellular phones at Sears have been growing every year since
2011, when the two launched a retail partnership. Sales volume through the
first four months of 2013 is already approaching sales for all of 2012.

The Partners in Transformation award recipients are selected from nominations
submitted by Sears Holdings’ associates who purchased goods and services from
suppliers in 2012.
