LOS ANGELES, May 21, 2013 /PRNewswire/ --Southern California McDonald's®
restaurants are introducing two new McCafe offerings – Blueberry Pomegranate
Smoothie, available now, and Dulce de Leche Shake, available at all
participating restaurants beginning June 10 for a limited time only. Both
McCafe menu introductions are part of McDonald's ongoing efforts to evolve its
menu with relevant, great-tasting food and beverage choices.

Freshly prepared for each customer, McCafe Blueberry Pomegranate Smoothie is
made with blueberries, raspberries, a splash of pomegranate juice and blended
with low-fat yogurt and ice. Its unique flavor profile combines the tartness
of pomegranate juice with the sweetness of blueberries and raspberries.
Starting at 220 calories for a small size, the new smoothie offers choices
from some of the USDA's MyPlate recommended food groups, such as dairy and
fruit. Blueberry Pomegranate Smoothie is the newest addition to the McCafe
Smoothie line which includes Strawberry Banana and Mango Pineapple. And, to
give customers even more reason to delight their taste buds, starting today
through May 23, customers can try a small size McCafe Blueberry Pomegranate
Smoothie for just $1.00 at participating restaurants, while supplies last.

McDonald's new seasonal shake, McCafe Dulce de Leche, offers customers an
exotic take on the classic caramel taste. Inspired by the traditional Latin
American dessert, the new seasonal shake is made with McDonald's vanilla

The McCafe summer line-up also features returning favorites Cherry Berry
