announced that Douglas Kent, global vice president of Avnet Velocity, will
co-present an end-user case study with Gartner analysts Greg Aimi and Ray
Barger titled, “Multi-Tier Visibility Is Now Table Stakes: Making Smart Bets
on Upstream Supplier Visibility,” at the Gartner Supply Chain Executive
Summit. The summit will be held at the J.W. Marriott Desert Ridge in Phoenix,
Arizona, May 21-23, 2013. Kent’s session will take place at 11:15 a.m. on
Thursday, May 23.
“For many companies, significant supply chain execution risks come from lack
of visibility into multiple tiers of their upstream supply chain,” said
Douglas Kent, global vice president, Avnet Velocity. “Multi-tier supplier
visibility and supplier collaboration have become critical to mitigating risk
when upstream events don’t go as planned. During this presentation, Greg, Ray
and I will discuss how to develop and implement supply chain solutions that
