Werner Enterprises to Co-Sponsor Community Safety Day and Werner Roadeo at
OMAHA, Neb. -- May 16, 2013
Werner Enterprises (NASDAQ: WERN), a premier transportation and logistics
provider, will co-sponsor its Community Safety Day and Werner Roadeo at Werner
Park on Saturday, June 29, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. The public is invited to
attend and participate in this interactive event to promote safety.
This event will feature interactive safety simulators that demonstrate the
consequences of a rollover accident, not using a seat belt and distracted
driving behavior. Werner will have its “No Zone” safety trailer on display and
Sleep Pointe will feature a mobile sleep lab complete with demonstrations and
resources designed to enhance sleep. Safety booths and vendors will be on hand
to discuss important safety issues and products that help keep our families
safe. Attendees will be given a punch card to be punched at each booth. One
full punch card will be good for one McDonald’s grass berm ticket at any July
game at Werner Park excluding the game on July 3. Complimentary hot dogs and
beverages will be provided by MUD (Metropolitan Utilities District) and Pepsi.

professional drivers showcase their skills and compete in a challenging
