(OTCBB:VSUL) – an industry-leading provider of chromatic-based identification
and diagnostic solutions with its ChromaID™ technology, announced today that
it will be showing the new ChromaID F12 Scanner for the first time in Europe
at the booth C2/657 at the Laser World of Photonics in Munich, Germany, taking
place on May 13th-16th, 2013.
The ChromaID F12 Scanner is a handheld device designed for authentication and

developers build custom applications with this scanner, and evaluate the
ChromaID Scanhead for use in their own products.
"The realization of the ChromaID F12 Scanner as our first product in the
marketplace is an important milestone for our company and this sector," said
Ron Erickson, President and CEO. "It will empower innovation and enable people
to use our technology for their own applications, which will lead to a myriad
of uses that we never anticipated or dreamed of."
The Laser World of Photonics is one of the largest photonics shows in the
world with more than 29,000 attendees, 1,100 exhibitors and participants from
65 countries. This makes it a focal point for new technologies and provides a
unique opportunity for Visualant to share and socialize the ChromaID

About Visualant, Inc.
Visualant™ is a public company whose shares trade under the stock symbol,
VSUL. The Visualant Spectral Pattern Matching™ technology directs structured
light onto a substance, through a liquid/gas, or off a surface, to capture a
unique ChromaID™. When matched against existing databases, a ChromaID can be
used to identify, detect, or diagnosis markers invisible to the human eye.
ChromaID scanner modules can be integrated into a variety of mobile or
fixed-mount form factors. The patented technology is disruptive, making it
possible to effectively conduct analyses in the field that could only
previously be performed by large and expensive lab–based tests.
