AstraZeneca and Bristol–Myers Squibb received the American College of
Endocrinology (ACE) Philanthropic Award at the AACE 22^nd Annual Scientific &
Clinical Congress in Phoenix, Arizona on May 4, 2013.

The ACE Philanthropic Award is presented to an industry partner who is a
member of the Corporate AACE Partnership (CAP) and has made a charitable
contribution to ACE in support of the betterment of endocrine care and public

AstraZeneca and Bristol-Myers Squibb formed the diabetes alliance and entered
into a collaboration in January 2007 to enable the companies to research,
develop and commercialize select investigational drugs for Type 2 Diabetes.
