MOSINEE, Wis., April 30, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- WAUSAU Financial Systems, the
industry leader in receivables processing solutions, today announced the
appointment of Brian Mandel, a veteran professional services executive and
consultant, as managing partner to oversee its Professional Services

Mandel has 20-plus years of experience with IT professional services,
solutions and consulting firms, including Unisys Corp., serving both public
sector and commercial markets. He joined WAUSAU from systems integration and
project management firms Emtec Inc. and Keane Inc., a unit of NTT Data Corp.,
where he served in executive management roles.

The WAUSAU Professional Services team offers a range of IT professional
services. It supports the selection and installation of systems; advisory
services specific to staffing; workflow; security; backups; database and
failover issues and reviews for maximizing and securing third-party software.

"As the industry evolves and adopts new technologies, employing and
integrating payments systems becomes increasingly complex," said Gary
Cawthorne, WAUSAU president and CEO. "Brian's leadership, project-management
skills and extensive experience in systems integration and consulting will
ensure that our clients receive the assistance needed to manage and mitigate
those complexities. He also will help clients accomplish business objectives
by delivering the technology and support."

At Unisys, where he was a 13-year veteran completing his tenure there as vice
president and managing partner, Mandel managed the public sector division with
a specific emphasis on business process management. He designed and led the
execution of integrated tax systems with the world's largest revenue agencies
and supported several organizations with integrated data matching for fraud
and criminal activity detection.

"Organizations express the urgent need to replace legacy core-payment systems
and adopt new technologies, but barriers that range from limited resources to
limitations with current systems make the process difficult," said Mandel.
"Those organizations need a cost-effective blueprint and true partner to help
them get there on time and on budget, and my team is excited to partner with
customers to deliver on that promise."
