   Leading Research Firm Reports Panasonic Leader in the Under 40 Extension

Panasonic System Communications Company of North America announced today that
it continues its leadership position in the small business telephone market
byachieving No. 1 market share in the 2 to 40 extensions category in North
America for the full calendar year 2012. The latest market information was
recently released by T3i Group—the prominent information technology market
research and advisory firm specializing in the worldwide telecommunications
industry.

According to the T3i report, InfoTrack for Enterprise Communications, North
America Full Year 2012, Panasonic is the market share leader among
manufacturers in the 2 to 40 telephone extension segment, as measured by line
shipments and market share. T3i reports that in 2012, Panasonic achieved 22.5
percent market share for the North American market, nearly an 8 point lead
over the next closest competitor, which achieved 14.8 percent market
share.Panasonic also held leadership in each quarter throughout 2012,
performing as follows: in Q1, Panasonic held 24.4 percent market share, a 11.9
point lead over the next competitor; in Q2 Panasonic held 20.7 percent market
share for a 7.6 point lead; in Q3 Panasonic held 21.8 percent market share for
a 3.8 point lead; and in Q4 Panasonic ended the year with a 23.1 percent
market share, beating out the next closest competitor by 6.8 points.
