Toshiba has responded by developing a line-up of sine-wave motor drive ICs to improve efficiency and reduce noise in fan motors. The new product, "TB67B000HG", integrates a sine-wave drive motor controller IC and a 500V/2A output IPD^2 suited for driving air conditioner fans in a single package. Using the new product rather than two separate ICs can reduce the mounting area^3, making it possible to reduce the overall system cost. An increase in the driving current capacity to 2A supports higher power motors. 1.As a sine -wave motor driver IC, as of April 26, 2013. Toshiba data. 2.IPD: Intelligent Power Device 3.An approximate 35% reduction against existing Toshiba products. *Follow this link for more on this product. http://www.semicon.toshiba.co.jp/eng/product/new_products/linear/1268504_2398.html Customer Inquiries: Mixed Signal Controller Group Tel: +81-44-548-2821 Information in this document, including product prices and specifications, content of services and contact information, is current on the date of the announcement but is subject to change without prior notice.
