VSS Monitoring Announces Asia PAC Region Sales Expansion
TOYO Corporation Joins the VSS Monitoring Team of Global Channel
Partners
SUNNYVALE, CA -- (Marketwired) -- 04/25/13 -- VSS Monitoring, a
leader in network packet brokers (NPBs), today announced that it has
selected TOYO Corporation of Japan, as its newest channel partner to
address the critical networking issues that enterprises and mobile
operators are facing in light of increasing network performance and
security threats. TOYO Corporation will resale the complete VSS
vBroker(TM) NPB system family, including the vBroker, vProtector, and
vInspector product offerings.
TOYO Corporation is one of Japan's pre-eminent specialists in the
all-critical area of network test and measurement, providing
comprehensive and integrated support in the core triad of hardware,
software and education. Their aim is to provide enterprises and
service providers with all-embracing service, while engaging in
constant and on-going feed-back with suppliers and developers.
"It is our ultimate objective to serve as an effective interface in
all our customers' networking needs," said Mitsuru Onodera, Executive
Officer, Information & Communications Technologies, TOYO Corporation.
"We are excited to join the VSS Monitoring team and believe their
innovative Network Packet Broker system is the perfect solution for
many of our customers, and VSS will ultimately help meet our
objective for providing excellence in everything we do."
"We are extremely excited about the appointment of TOYO Corporation
as our newest sales channel in this important region," said Eddie
Tung, Global Vice President Alliances & Channels, VSS Monitoring.
"This valued new partnership enables us to take advantage of their
extensive expertise and the rich networking history TOYO Corporation
is known for in the region. With their help, we will be able to
engage a larger customer base and extend VSS Monitoring's superior
customer sales and technical support."
The vBroker(TM) NPB products are deployed between the IP network and
all the performance and/or security tools needed to protect a data
center network and enable the highest quality performance. By doing
so, VSS's NPB's form a complete visibility fabric to access the
traffic in the network, optimize it, and direct the right traffic to
the right tools. Customers who use a complete vBroker(TM) Network
Packet Broker system, are rewarded with huge network infrastructure
cost savings. Typically slashing tool build-outs by 50 to 80%, and
extend the life of existing performance and/or security tools --
savings the can run into millions of dollars depending on network
size.
