UIL Holdings Corporation (NYSE: UIL) will be releasing its first quarter 2013
financial results on Thursday, May 2, 2013, after the market closes.

In conjunction with the earnings release, UIL will conduct a web cast
conference call with financial analysts on Friday, May 3, 2013 beginning at
10:00 A.M. Eastern time. UIL’s executive management will present an overview
