BELLEVUE, Wash. -- April 23, 2013

Underscoring its increased emphasis on business customers, T-Mobile USA, Inc.
today announced the appointment of Drew Kelton to the newly created role of
executive vice president of Business Markets, reporting to president and CEO
John Legere. The move to hire a seasoned business market executive reflects
the importance of business customers to T-Mobile’s growth plans.

Kelton brings to T-Mobile a wealth of telecom experience from around the
globe. Most recently, he was president of Bharti Airtel Business in India.
Through his leadership and creativity, he successfully revamped the company’s
strategy, product and service portfolio and returned Airtel Business to growth
in an extraordinarily competitive market. Prior to Airtel Business, Kelton
served as managing director for Telstra International, where he established
the company as a thriving player in the Asia Pacific region.

Kelton’s appointment is the latest in a series of aggressive moves being made
