MINNEAPOLIS -- April 23, 2013

Ernst & Young LLP today announced the finalists for the Ernst&Young
Entrepreneur Of The Year^® 2013 Award in the Upper Midwest region. The awards
program recognizes high-growth entrepreneurs who demonstrate excellence and
extraordinary success in such areas as innovation, financial performance and
personal commitment to their businesses and communities. These 29 finalists
were selected from 61 nominations by a panel of independent judges. Award
winners will be announced at a special gala event on June 13, 2013, at the
Minneapolis Marriott City Center.

At the gala, in addition to recognizing the regional finalists, Randall Hogan,
chairman and CEO of Pentair, will be presented with the Lifetime Achievement

The Upper Midwest region includes companies based in Minnesota, Iowa,
Nebraska, North Dakota and South Dakota. Collectively, this year’s finalists
created nearly 4,000 jobs in the past three years, providing 19,588 jobs at
the end of 2012. These companies generated more than $9.6 billion of revenue
in 2012, and grew their company’s employment by nearly 20 percent and their
revenues by 40 percent between 2010 and 2012.
