WESTBOROUGH, Mass. -- April 23, 2013

Richard A. Clarke, the first cybersecurity czar at the White House and author
of Cyber War: The Next Threat to National Security and What to Do About It,
will keynote Courion Corporation’s annual conference, CONVERGE 2013, beginning
May 19th in Atlanta.

Clarke served as the chief cybersecurity adviser to Presidents Bill Clinton
and George W. Bush and is the Chairman of Good Harbor Security Risk
Management, a cybersecurity risk management consulting firm. In his book Cyber
War, Clarke details the threat of international attacks on the computer
infrastructures of critical industrial and government targets. The topic
dovetails with Courion’s mission to help companies succeed in a world of open
access and increasing threats. Courion’s identity and access management (IAM)
solutions help organizations discover and proactively manage these risks in
real time.

Cyber attacks, whether perpetrated by those outside or inside the business,
are a growing threat in today’s mobile, always-on, cloud-based environment,
where openness is imperative. Many cyber attacks go undiscovered by companies
as private customer data or high-priced intellectual property bleeds out of
the organization. Courion’s identity and access intelligence solution, Access
Insight™, is unique in its ability to provide a comprehensive real-time view
of business risk, enabling CISOs to stop these kinds of breaches before they
occur.

“Cyber attacks are a pandemic costing companies significantly,” said Clarke.
“The old technologies and approaches are insufficient against the latest
threats. I look forward to offering my take on the growing threat of cyber
attacks, and learning from the attendees I meet at CONVERGE.”

Managing the risk of breaches – internal, external, malicious and inadvertent
– will be a central theme of CONVERGE 2013, which takes place Sunday, May
19th, through Wednesday, May 22nd, in Atlanta. At the 11^th annual conference,
Courion’s customers, partners and industry experts will discuss how
organizations can take their identity and access management strategies to the
next level.

Session speakers include Courion customers from organizations such as the
American Red Cross, BankUnited, HealthSpring, Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer
Center, State Street Corporation and Universal American. Courion-led
presentations will highlight the insight gained through Courion’s real-time
predictive analytics and deep knowledge of the threat world. The company will
discuss how continuously analyzing user access data can help organizations
identify associations and patterns that might violate compliance guidelines or
company policies before they create a serious risk to the company.

“I’ve been to several CONVERGE conferences and have gained terrific insights
at the events,” said Kyle Duke, Vice President of IT and Chief Information
Security Officer (CISO) at HealthSpring. “I’ve attended many valuable sessions
and implemented solutions based on what I have learned. Those solutions have
brought us meaningful results in terms of efficiency, risk reduction and
compliance. I’d recommend attending, and Mr. Clarke’s appearance will
definitely make this year’s event memorable.”
