global customer and partner community, to be held June 11-14 in San Francisco.
Ventyx World 2013 will bring together a broad range of experts from across

& petrochemical – to share best practices and technologies for maximizing
efficiency, minimizing risk and driving bottom-line results.
The event will include keynote presentations and breakouts focused on customer

Senior company executives will kick off the event, with welcome presentations
from Ventyx CEO Jeff Ray and ABB CEO in North America Enrique Santacana.
Former IDC Energy Insights analyst Rick Nicholson, now a member of the Ventyx
team, will also lead a discussion around many of the pressing challenges
facing the utility industry today.
"Ventyx World will be a unique gathering of some of the world's largest
industry players from all corners of the globe," said Jeff Ray, chief

learn from one another, and discuss the latest innovations and solutions in
our industries. It will also be a celebration of everything our customers have
achieved, and how they've partnered with Ventyx to solve some of the biggest
challenges they face."
Special guest speakers will include NASA legends Captain James Lovell and
Flight Control Director Gene Kranz, whose decisive leadership and innovation
helped bring the Apollo 13 mission safely home. Their keynote will inspire
attendees to innovate and overcome challenges in order to attain new heights
of leadership when "failure is not an option." Also joining the stage is Nate
Silver, who was called a "spreadsheet psychic" and "number-crunching prodigy"
by New York Magazine, and was also named one of the world's 100 Most
Influential People by Time magazine.
Ventyx World will provide attendees with everything from high-level
discussions by world-renowned innovators and leaders, to deep dives into the
