ATLANTA, April 22, 2013

ATLANTA, April 22, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Cox Communications announced today
that its Cox TV Connect app will now support Amazon's Kindle Fire®, Google's
Nexus® and Samsung's Galaxy Tab 2 and Note tablets.  With access to over 90
national cable channels, customers can download the free app on their device.
In addition to the newly supported devices, the application creates a 'second
screen' experience for customers to watch live television programming in their
home on their iPad, iPhone, or iPod touch device.

"Tablets have really changed the game in terms of the way people view
television," said Len Barlik, executive vice president of product management
and development.  "Our customers want more than the traditional living room
experience.  We continue to evolve our products to meet customers' changing
needs, connecting them to the things they care about in ways that are easy to
use and reliable."

Introduced in December 2011, the Cox TV Connect app for iPad and iPhone has
been downloaded more than 500,000 times.  The channel lineup for the app
includes popular national cable channels such as History Channel, Discovery, A
& E, TNT, HGTV and CNN.  In addition to the app, Cox Advanced TV customers
have access to a library of thousands of television and movie titles on demand
with TV Online at www.cox.com/tv.  Customers with Apple devices can download
Cox TV Connect from the Apple iTunes store, customers with the Kindle Fire can
download the app from the Amazon appstore or for Nexus and Galaxy users from
the Google Play store.
