MELVILLE, N.Y. -- April 22, 2013

Nastel Technologies, a premier global provider of application performance
monitoring solutions for mission-critical applications from the datacenter to
the cloud, today announced that it will be sponsoring a case study on
real-time monitoring of Dodd-Frank trade reporting at the IBM Impact 2013
show. The conference is being held at The Venetian and The Palazzo Hotels,
April 28 through May 2, 2013, in Las Vegas.

Nastel will sponsor the session entitled “How Technology is Used for Real-Time
Monitoring of Dodd-Frank Trade Reporting.” The session will take place Monday,
April 29, at noon PDT in the Venetian – Marcello 4403 room. Attendees will be
entered into a drawing for a free tablet.

The session will examine Nastel’s work with a customer to deploy real-time
monitoring of the Dodd-Frank regulation to ensure all trade lifecycle events
are reported and positively acknowledged in a timely manner. The solution,
known as AutoPilot® for Dodd-Frank Compliance, pulls relevant data in real
time from the IT infrastructure and related databases to create a custom view
for the business to use in order to ensure compliance. A key component of the
requirement was to automatically track or “stitch” Swap activities within the
dealer, reports to the Global Trade Repository and their acknowledgement into
an end-to-end, real-time visualization of a trade.

“We feel that many financial institutions are still trying to find out the
best way to navigate through Dodd-Frank compliance rules, and monitoring of
trade reporting in real-time is a major challenge for those institutions,”
said Charles Rich, vice president of product management at Nastel. “This case
study shows that AutoPilot can monitor compliance and proactively alert the
business on actual or potential breaches in responsibility. As we move
forward, this type of compliance monitoring will become important not just for
U.S. companies but for other international companies facing similar regulatory
rules in their countries as well as in other industries such as healthcare.”

In addition to the sponsored session, Nastel will be at the show in Booth z2
demonstrating its solutions for real-time monitoring of the IBM WebSphere
family of products, System z, custom applications and compliance. AutoPilot
for Dodd-Frank Compliance will be available for sale starting April 30.

In 2012 and early 2013 Nastel has seen significant activity in new product
launches and business momentum including:

*Being named one of the elite vendors for application performance
monitoring by analyst firm Enterprise Management Associates.
*On the product front, Nastel released AutoPilot 6.5, the first unified
platform to manage multiple middleware technologies with a single
    solution.
*Nastel also released MQSonar™, its second freemium product for isolating
faults in and measuring baseline performance of applications based on
    IBM’s WebSphere MQ (WMQ).
*Nastel went on to release its third freemium offering, AutoPilot Heap
Detective™, which diagnoses memory leaks in Java applications.
*Nastel’s channels expanded with growth in the HP channel and a new channel
    relationship with CA Technologies.
*Nastel hired IT sales industry veteran Larry Jeshiva as vice president,
North American Sales, and Darren Riley as director of EMEA operations.

“Nastel saw very positive changes in 2012 in terms of product innovation and
business growth,” said David Mavashev, CEO of Nastel. “We are carrying this
momentum forward into 2013 where we will continue to develop and improve our
application performance technologies and position ourselves for additional
growth.”

Nastel also is participating in the CA World ’13 conference in Las Vegas this
week, April 21-24. In a session entitled “Introducing Nastel AutoPilot for
WebSphere MQ Management,” Nastel will discuss how AutoPilot for WebSphere MQ
extends the CA Technologies performance offerings, including CA APM, CA
Cross-Enterprise Application Performance Management and CA SYSVIEW Performance
Management. Nastel will demonstrate at Booth EC_MNF_620 at the Mandalay Bay
Resort and Casino.
