Jamba Juice Company, a leading healthy, active lifestyle brand announced today
that fitness icon, actor and entrepreneur Jake Steinfeld will serve as
spokesperson for Jamba’s new and enhanced fresh juice platform. Mr. Steinfeld
is known globally for his popular “Body by Jake” brand, as well as his work to
promote youth fitness as the Chair of the California Governor’s Council on
Physical Fitness and Sports, and now as the Chairman of the National
Foundation for Governors Fitness Councils.

The company also announced the expansion of its Healthy Living Council with
the launch of the Jamba Healthy Living Fitness Council, for which Mr.
Steinfeld will serve as a spokesperson. Created in 2012, the Healthy Living
Council is comprised of a team of nationally known nutrition experts who
provide consumers with useful, practical information to help them live
healthier lifestyles. The new Fitness Council will serve a similar function
for consumers seeking information on physical fitness.

Mr. Steinfeld will host promotional events and other activities in support of
Jamba’s new and expanded fresh juice offerings, many of which will occur at
the recently remodeled Santa Monica store. The company will continue to use
that store as a learning lab for testing new concepts. Jamba plans to remodel
many more of its stores in the coming months to incorporate the expanded fresh
juice products.
