           Prior to the 2013 Digital Patriots Dinner, the Consumer Electronics
           Association (CEA)^® will host a press reception focused on the
WHAT:      growing and alarming diversion of resources away from innovation as
           a result of frivolous lawsuits by so-called patent assertion
           entities (PAEs or patent trolls).
           
           Pulling from experiences of CEA member companies, industry experts
           and Congress, the reception will be a comprehensive look at the
           impact of PAEs on the American economy and why sensible reform like
           the Saving High-tech Innovators from Egregious Legal Disputes
           (SHIELD) Act is necessary.
