Campbell Soup and Mars Advertising Claim Second Place in The Hub Top 20

WESTPORT, Conn. -- April 11, 2013

Procter & Gamble is back on top as the number-one brand marketer in The Hub
Magazine’s Top 20, an annual survey of excellence in shopper marketing.
CatapultRPM is ranked as the number-one shopper-marketing agency.

P&G had ranked first in the first two years of the survey, now in its sixth
year, and has never finished lower than fourth. CatapultRPM had finished
second for the previous three years.

The Hub Magazine compiles The Hub Top 20 in collaboration with the University
of Tennessee by asking brand marketers and agencies to evaluate each other in
13 areas critical to success in shopper marketing, a rapidly growing
discipline dedicated to serving shoppers and marketing brands at retail.

“Procter & Gamble, CatapultRPM, and all of the other brand marketers and
agencies that made the Top 20 are there because they pursue shopper marketing
as a brand-building strategy,” said Tim Manners, founder of The Hub Magazine.

Dr. Dan Flint, director of the Shopper Marketing Forum at the University of
Tennessee, comments: “Shopper marketing is changing in some meaningful ways
while also remaining fairly stable. The rankings reflect the changes as well
as the consistencies.”

In order, the other brand marketers in the Hub Top 20 are Campbell Soup,
Kimberly-Clark, Clorox, Hillshire Brands, Pfizer, Nestle, Unilever, ConAgra
Foods, Coca-Cola, M&M Mars, SC Johnson, Hershey’s, PepsiCo, Bacardi, Barilla,
Hormel Foods, Kraft Foods, Reckitt Benckiser and Novartis.

The other agencies are Mars Advertising, Acosta Mosaic Group,
JWT/OgilvyAction, TracyLocke, IN Marketing, Match Marketing Group, Arc
Worldwide, Saatchi & Saatchi X, Draftfcb, Mass Hispanic, Blue Chip Marketing,
The Integer Group, Upshot, TPN, Circle One, G2, Collaborative Marketing Group,
Alcone Marketing Group, and Leader Enterprises.
