Kratos Receives $6 Million in Contract Awards to Deploy Specialized Security
System for Mass Transportation, Rail and Critical Infrastructure

SAN DIEGO, April 11, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Kratos Defense & Security
Solutions, Inc. (Nasdaq:KTOS), a leading National Security Solutions provider,
announced today that its Public Safety & Security Solutions (PSS) Division has
recently received contract awards to provide specialized security systems for
certain mass transportation, rail and other critical infrastructure. Included
in the specialized security systems, Kratos will deploy surveillance and other
security related assets, which will be integrated into a command and control
infrastructure.Kratos' PSS Division designs, engineers, deploys and
integrates into command and control systems unique and specialized security
systems that protect the United States' critical infrastructure and strategic
assets.Due to customer related and other considerations, no additional
