Hitachi Data Systems Corporation (HDS), a wholly owned subsidiary of Hitachi,
Ltd. (TSE: 6501), today announced new roles for several of its key executives.
These changes are consistent with the company’s evolution into an information
solutions company that helps customers innovate with information to make a

directly to Hitachi President Hiroaki Nakanishi, and will help expand the
Information & Telecommunication Systems Company’s (ITSC) platform business
globally. He will also accelerate the Social Innovation business of Hitachi
through the development of strategies that bridge Hitachi group companies.
This appointment underscores the strategic role and influence that HDS has
held for years within Hitachi.
