Regulatory News:

Centrica Energy has awarded Alstom (Paris:ALO) a €120 million contract^1 for
gas turbine maintenance services at its South Humber Bank power station in the
north of the UK. The agreement covers the five Alstom GT13E2 gas turbines
installed at the 1260 MW combined-cycle power plant over the next seven years.

In addition to the delivery of parts and equipment for the performance of all
planned inspections on the five gas turbines, Alstom will supply all necessary
craft labour as well as on-site technical field advisors. The contract also
includes delivery of two additional upgrade packages based on the successful
validation of the first upgrade installed in February 2012 on a single turbine
at the same power station.

Tony Lyon, Plant Manager for South Humber Bank from Centrica Energy commented,
“The first installation has successfully demonstrated that this upgrade
delivers substantial benefits. With the new order, the benefits cumulated
across our other machines will increase our combined-cycle plant output. The
plant efficiency gain will allow us to reduce our fuel costs and CO2

Hans-Peter Meer, Senior Vice President of Alstom Thermal Services said: “This
upgrade represents one of our most significant service innovations for the
installed fleet. It helps our customers to increase the competitiveness of
their power generation assets by increasing plant performance and reducing
operation costs.”

^1 This contract has been booked in fiscal year 2012/13
