Bunchball Announces Enhanced Gamification Tools for the Jive Platform

Bunchball Announces Enhanced Gamification Tools for the Jive Platform
Powered by Bunchball Nitro, Latest Release of Jive's Advanced
Gamification Module Adds New Collaboration Capabilities to Drive
Adoption, Increase Quality Contributions and More
SAN FRANCISCO, CA -- (Marketwired) -- 04/08/13 -- Marketo Summit
Core News Facts:

-- Bunchball, the pioneer and market leader in gamification, today rolled
out a new version of Jive's Advanced Gamification Module powered by
Bunchball Nitro(TM) at the Marketo Summit in San Francisco.
-- With Jive's Advanced Gamification Module, enterprises can expand
the capabilities of the Jive platform by applying Bunchball's
proven game mechanics to motivate and get employees further
engaged in social collaboration that improves productivity.
-- Community managers gain greater control to create their own game
dynamics, which can incent users towards answering questions to
drive down support costs, reading training material to better ramp
new employees or even connecting with other users within
enthusiast groups to grow a social community.
-- For Jive users, the latest module includes:
-- Reputation assessment. A powerful new Bunchball algorithm ranks
the reputations earned by members and provides insights that can
help enterprises increase the number of quality contributions from
users. The module tracks the number of an employee's social
collaboration activities -- uploading and sharing documents,
commenting on content, posting to Facebook -- while also assessing
the value of those contributions to other community members based
on comments, reposts, "helpful" votes and other behaviors.
-- More precise personalization. Along with tracking more than 100
specific activities to structure missions and challenges within
Jive, Bunchball now attaches contextual information to those
activities. This improves the ability for administrators of
different Jive Places to more precisely match incentives and
rewards to the roles and interests of a particular department,
line of business, workgroup or other online community.
-- Improved integration. The new module incorporates more extensive
and seamless integration of game mechanics within the Jive
interface. Gamification elements such as badges, leaderboards,
newsfeeds, missions, notifications and rewards centers share the
same clean look and feel as the overall Jive experience.
-- The Jive Advanced Gamification Module powered by Bunchball Nitro can
be leveraged across many corporate initiatives, whether for use in
employee engagement and communications, sales and channel enablement,
    or customer service.
-- The module's gamification capabilities address a key growth trend
among enterprises. Gartner Research predicts 70 percent of Global 2000
organizations will gamify at least one application by 2014.(1)
-- An array of companies have deployed Jive's Advanced Gamification
module powered by Bunchball Nitro to motivate employees, customers and
partners to make more frequent and meaningful contributions to the
social business experience enabled by Jive. They include: Eloqua,
    SolarWinds, T-Mobile and Tableau Software.

"More than 33 million T-Mobile USA customers rely
on the ability of our employees to stay current on technology,
products, and services that change constantly. That's a big job, but
the Jive platform makes it easier by providing a single and coherent
place for all our frontline staff to access the knowledge and support
they need to address customer needs quickly and easily. By gamifying
that experience with badges, levels, points and specially customized
incentives, we will harness our employees' natural competitive spirit
to engage them more than ever before. This is the unique value that
the latest integrated Jive and Bunchball solution delivers to
T-Mobile."
