Allied Payment Network, a provider of online bill payment services to the
financial industry, announced that financial industry veteran Gary Daniel has
joined the company as its executive vice president and board member, bringing
more than 45 years of experience to the Allied team.

Daniel has held management and executive positions at several companies
providing data processing systems and services to banks and credit unions.
Daniel has extensive experience in system selection, software pricing and
support of complex information processing systems.

Previously, Daniel served as senior vice president of Fidelity National
Information Services (FIS). Additionally, Daniel previously served as senior
vice president of Open Solutions (now Fiserv); vice president of Sales of
Newtrend; vice president and general manager of Norrell; sales manager of
Burroughs Corp. (now Unisys); and senior vice president of M&T Bank in
Buffalo, N.Y.

In addition to his work with Allied, Daniel is a financial industry consultant
for the Gerson Lehrman Group in New York, as well as an independent consultant
for his own firm, Gary Daniel and Associates, LLC.

Daniel is a charter member of the Electronic Funds Transfer Association, a
member of the American Management Association, Data Processing Management
Association, Financial Managers Society, Association for Financial Technology,
Sales and Marketing Executives Society, and a former board member of USA
Federal Credit Union. He is currently a director of Banc Intranets, LLC, and
listed in Who’s Who in America’s Credit Unions.
