China's Average Internet Speed Increases From 2.31 Mb/s to 2.59 Mb/s QoQ

BEIJING, April 2, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- ChinaCache International Holdings

China, released its Fourth Quarter 2012 China Internet Report. The report
ranks Shanghai first on the list with an average connection speed of nearly
4.04 Mb/s, making it the only province in China with an average connection
speed of above 4 Mb/s. According to the report, in the fourth quarter of 2012,
average Internet connection speeds in China increased to 2.59 Mb/s from 2.31
Mb/s in the third quarter.

Comparing China's three major carriers, China Telecom had the fastest average
connection speeds, at 2.63 Mb/s, followed by China Mobile's 2.36 Mb/s and
China Unicom's 2.3 Mb/s.
