Radhesh Balakrishnan, previously of Microsoft, will serve as the global leader of Red Hat’s virtualization infrastructure solutions, including responsibilities for the company’s Red Hat OpenStack and Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization technologies and solutions. Virtualization is the cornerstone of cloud computing and Kernel-based Virtual Machine (KVM), which serves as the foundation for Red Hat’s virtualization initiatives, is a predominant hypervisor in the cloud.
