Major Midwestern University Selects AiM(TM) from AssetWorks

AssetWorks scores a significant competitive replacement at Kansas State University.

SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS -- (Marketwired) -- 04/02/13 -- AssetWorks, a leader in Intelligent Workplace Management, today announced that Kansas State University (KSU) has selected AiM(TM) from AssetWorks to replace an existing legacy solution that the university determined no longer met their needs. Marking a considerable competitive win for AssetWorks, KSU is looking to utilize AiM to manage campus maintenance and operations and space planning. In addition, AiM is expected to be integrated with several key university systems, including PeopleSoft(R) Human Resources, Oracle(R) Financials, Gasboy's(R) fuel management solution, a Pitney Bowes' postage system, and Honeywell(R) building automation systems (BAS).

Located in Manhattan, Kansas (affectionately known as the "Little Apple"), KSU is a major research university with a student body of 24,000. The university is recognized by both the Princeton Review and US News & World Report as one of the top universities in America. AiM has been selected to help support the mission of the over 400 personnel in KSU's Division of Facilities who are charged with managing over 4.6 million gross square feet in 80 buildings covering 660 acres of meticulously manicured land.

"We're pleased to welcome Kansas State University to the long list of institutions of higher education that currently rely on AiM to manage their facilities and real estate portfolios," said Ken Slaughter, Senior Vice President, AssetWorks. "This win affirms our leadership position as a provider of IWMS solutions to institutions of higher education, and as a competitive replacement, it serves as testament to the strength of our solution."

AiM helps organizations reduce costs by promoting better oversight and utilization of facilities and real estate; eliminates management redundancies and proactively manages the workplace; ensures regulatory and fiscal compliance by providing auditable data and complete transparency to enterprise assets; and helps organizations realize their sustainability and business continuity goals.
