AkzoNobel Completes Divestment of Decorative Paints North America 
AMSTERDAM, NETHERLANDS -- (Marketwire) -- 04/01/13 --  AkzoNobel has
today finalized the $1.05 billion sale of its North American
Decorative Paints business to US-based PPG Industries, Inc. The deal
was announced on December 14, 2012.

through its Performance Coatings and Specialty Chemicals businesses,
with combined 2012 revenues of close to $3 billion and around 5,000
