(NASDAQ: CRFN) and ECB Bancorp, Inc. (NYSE MKT: ECBE) announced today the closing of their previously-announced merger. The parties also announced the merger of their subsidiary banks, VantageSouth Bank and The East Carolina Bank. The combined bank will operate as VantageSouth Bank.
