Nissan Canada congratulates the province of British Columbia for ongoing
commitment to clean energy vehicles
MISSISSAUGA, ON, March 28, 2013 /CNW/ - Nissan Canada Inc. applauds
Environment Minister Terry Lake and the B.C. government for its announcement
today to extend the Clean Energy Vehicle incentive program for another year.
The program provides B.C. residents with up to $5,000 off the pre-tax sticker
price for qualifying new battery electric and other clean vehicles, and
reconfirms the province's commitment to the adoption and promotion of

Nissan was the first automaker committed to bringing electric mobility to the
mass market with the launch of the all-electric Nissan LEAF in select markets
in 2010, and in Canada in 2011.
To date, Nissan has sold more than 50,000 Nissan LEAFs worldwide making it the
best-selling all-electric car ever.
