of its iconic sport sandals throughout the spring and summer of 2013. The new
styles will be available at exclusive retailers around the world celebrating
the brand's original look and design with unexpected colors and detailing.
Teva, which means "nature" in Hebrew, created the original sport
sandal.Nearly 30 years ago, a Grand Canyon river guide blended the best parts
of shoes and sandals, crafting the world's first sport sandal.
Thatsimplicity, versatility and performance has made Teva a mainstay in both
the outdoor and fashion worlds since 1984.

The new offering celebrates the spirit of Teva's outdoor heritage, perfect for

ORIGINAL UNIVERSAL ($50)
Teva honors its outdoor heritage by energizing its iconic silhouette—the
Original Universal. Featuring traditional nylon webbing in rich jewel tones, a
contoured EVA topsole and a durable rubber outsole, the Original Universal is
as relevant today as it was in 1984.
HURRICANE XLT ($60)
Over the years, some things prove themselves to be timeless. With its
no-nonsense style and supremely versatile functionality, the Hurricane XLT has

As popularity of the iconic sport sandal silhouette rises, new retail
partners, including Urban Outfitters in the U.S. and Ships in Japan, have
joined Teva in the celebration of the classic sandal. These select retailers
will launch limited-edition designs this spring.
Urban Outfitters is a U.S. based retailer offering an eclectic mix of
merchandise focused on contemporary art, music and fashion. Urban Outfitters'
exclusive Teva collection features original tribal webbing designs, delivering
on-trend fashion with classic Teva styling. The Original Universal ($50) and,
the very first Teva design that launched the brand in 1984, the Original
Sandal ($45), will be available in exclusive limited-edition colors at select
Urban Outfitters beginning May 15, 2013.
Ships is a premier Japanese fashion retailer specializing in up-scale casual
wear and heritage American footwear and accessories, with key locations in

colors of the Original Universal, is priced at $60 and will be available at
select Ships doors beginning May 1, 2013.
