PALO ALTO, Calif. -- March 21, 2013

Revolution Analytics, the leading commercial provider of software, services
and support for the open source R project, today announced several strategic
new additions to the company’s executive team both in the U.S. and
internationally.

In tandem, Revolution Analytics announced the opening of its London office
located at 101 Finsbury Pavement, a hub for sales, business and technical
services for its UK and European clients. London is one of two international
offices for the company following its 2012 Singapore office opening.

Coming to Revolution Analytics from a host of companies including Accenture,
IBM and SAS, the following new hires join Revolution Analytics at a time of
groundbreaking innovation as the company pioneers in-Hadoop predictive
analytics with Hortonworks and supports major Hadoop distributions from Intel
and Cloudera, among others.

Michele Chambers, Chief Strategy Officer—Bringing more than 25 years of
industry experience to her new role as Chief Strategy Officer & VP Product
Management, Michele Chambers is responsible for corporate strategy, product
management and product marketing at Revolution Analytics. She joined the
company from IBM where she served as GM & VP Big Data Analytics and led the
team responsible for working with customers to fully exploit the IBM Big Data
platform, including the IBM PureData System for Analytics appliance. Michele
is the co-author of “Big Data Big Analytics” (Wiley 2013), a book that helps
businesses and IT managers/executives understand the value of big data through
practical use case stories along with consumable descriptions of the enabling
technology.

Greg Todd, Chief Technology Officer—As CTO, Greg Todd provides strategy,
guidance and methods to successfully engage clients with information
management solutions powered by analytics. He has worked at numerous Fortune
500 companies helping them to define analytics architectures to support
descriptive and predictive management reporting needs. Greg has been a
technical architect for more than 20 years, most recently completing a 15 year
run at Accenture where he was a Managing Director in their Digital Data &
Analytics practice.

Greg Fuller, Vice President, Partners and Channels—Greg Fuller leads the
alliance strategy and business partner efforts for Revolution Analytics. Greg
brings more than 20 years in the IT industry to Revolution Analytics. Before
joining the company, Greg served as Global Alliance Director at SAS on its
efforts with Accenture. During his 12 years with SAS, Greg also managed global
partnerships with Deloitte Consulting and specific industry relationships with
Teradata, IBM, EMC/Greenplum and HP in the Financial Services sector. Prior to
that, Greg served in a variety of senior sales roles at Roundarch Consulting,
Oracle, CSC, Chordiant and Customer Analytics.

Neera Talbert, Vice President, Professional Services—Neera Talbert leads the
training and consulting teams at Revolution Analytics. She joined the company
from SAS where she served as Director of Consulting Services. Prior to that,
Neera was with SAIC and CSC supporting NASA’s manned flight information
technology programs. She brings more than 15 years of proven success in the
business analytics software industry, as well as 10 years in management
consulting and IT professional services. Neera is skilled at developing and
driving services strategy to achieve high performance and organizational
change management across global markets.

Neil Miller, Managing Director, International—Neil Miller is responsible for
Revolution Analytics' business and growth outside the Americas and is based in
the UK. Neil joined the company after 14 years at Accenture where he led the
Customer Insight and Marketing Transformation practices in Europe, and the CRM
and Analytics practices in the UK and Ireland. His consulting experience is
complemented by 13 years operational experience with Lloyds Bank and GE
Capital in a variety of sales, account management, organization development,
and six-sigma business improvement roles in the UK and the U.S.

John Bardong, Vice President, Sales—John Bardong brings more than 25 years of
experience and success in team and customer relationship building,
pipeline/sales generation and execution of global sales opportunities in the
ERP, data integration, and financial services applications. He comes to
Revolution Analytics from Talend where he was VP of North American sales. John
also served as Vice President with Informatica and was a part of the
management team at PeopleSoft that grew the business from $100 million in
revenue to well over $1 billion.

Mark Bruno, Vice President, Business Operations—Mark Bruno joins Revolution
Analytics after 15 years with Accenture, most recently as the global
Commercial Director of Accenture Analytics. Mark's expertise in
alliance/partner relationship management was instrumental in shaping complex
legal and commercial structures associated with analytics
“Platforms-as-a-Service,” and he was responsible for negotiating and
contracting more than $2 billion in software and services transactions with
Fortune 200 technology companies. Mark also brings 10 years of commercial and
program management experience from Texas Instruments.
