MENOMONEE FALLS, Wis. -- March 21, 2013

Kohl’s Department Stores (NYSE: KSS) today announced a partnership with
Catherine Malandrino, who will be the third designer for the retailer’s
DesigNation limited-edition collection. As part of the Kohl’s DesigNation
concept featuring premier designer fashions based on international
inspiration, the collection will draw creative influence from Malandrino’s
recent trip to her home city of Paris, France. The collection features apparel
for her and will be available exclusively at Kohl’s and Kohls.com beginning
fall 2013.

“Our DesigNation collection from Catherine Malandrino blends Catherine’s
feminine style and recognizable silhouette into wearable, timeless designs
that allow women to express their personality at an exceptional value,” said
Don Brennan, Kohl’s chief merchandising officer. “We are confident the line
will appeal to our customers and continue to position Kohl’s as the premier
style destination they have come to expect.”

Malandrino’s DesigNation collection will include dresses, skirts, pants,
shirts, sweaters and outerwear. Retail prices for the collection will range
from $36-$130. The line will be available in fall 2013. For more information,

“From the lights and the architecture to the parks and the galleries, I found
so much creative inspiration walking the streets of Paris,” said Malandrino.
“My Kohl’s DesigNation collection showcases that experience with a perfect
blend of romantic, elegant and Parisian style at an affordable price.”

Launched in fall 2012 with Narciso Rodriguez and following with Derek Lam for
spring 2013, Kohl’s DesigNation collections feature a different designer,
marrying his or her aesthetic with influence from various global destinations.
Kohl’s will continue to introduce new brands and exclusive world-class
partnerships that offer customers contemporary style at an incredible value.

About Catherine Malandrino
