HEINEKEN Appoints Chris Barrow as Chief Strategy Officer and Member of 
Executive Committee 
AMSTERDAM, THE NETHERLANDS -- (Marketwire) -- 03/19/13 --  Heineken
N.V. ('HEINEKEN') today announced that it has appointed Chris Barrow,
currently Managing Director HEINEKEN Brasil, to the newly created
role of Chief Strategy Officer. In this role, Chris will join the
Executive Committee, reporting to Jean-Francois van Boxmeer, Chairman
of the Executive Board/CEO, and will oversee the evolution of
HEINEKEN's wider business strategy. 
Commenting on the appointment, Jean-Francois van Boxmeer said: "Over

Chris will relocate from Brazil to Amsterdam and take up his new
position in August.

 Since 2011, Chris Barrow has been
Managing Director HEINEKEN Brasil. Chris joined HEINEKEN in 2004
working on various business development projects in Asia and Latin
America before becoming Managing Director HEINEKEN Latin America and
President of HEINEKEN's Polish operations, Grupa Zywiec. Prior to
joining HEINEKEN, Chris worked at SABMiller from 1987 until 2003 in a
variety of management roles with increasing responsibility in South
Africa, Asia and Central America.
