INDIANAPOLIS -- March 18, 2013

Kite Realty Group Trust (NYSE: KRG) (the “Company”) announced today that the
Board of Trustees declared a quarterly cash distribution of $0.06 per common
share for the quarter ended March 31, 2013 to shareholders of record as of
April 5, 2013. This distribution will be paid on or about April 12, 2013.
