EPIC Technologies Announces the Appointment of Joe Rogers as Senior Vice
President of Global Operations

EPIC Technologies has named Joe Rogers senior vice president of global
operations. In his new position, he is responsible for all of EPIC’s
manufacturing operations in the U.S., Mexico and the European Union, its
corporate engineering function in Johnson City, TN, and corporate quality.
“Joe brings a unique set of qualifications to EPIC. His more than 30 years of
experience in the electronics industry includes positions at original
equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and contract manufacturers. He has seen the
outsourcing relationship from both sides. As a result, he understands the
issues that both parties bring to the table and is well positioned to help us
to continue to enhance both customer responsiveness and the systems and
processes necessary to support that effort. Additionally, he has significant
experience in managing large-scale global manufacturing operations which works
well with our goal of continuing international expansion,” said Bhawnesh
Mathur, EPIC’s CEO.

flexibility with a track record of on-time delivery exceeding 99%. My goal is
to continue to increase internal velocity across the manufacturing floor
utilizing single piece flow in a high mix, low-to-medium volume environment. I
believe it is important to apply both enhanced factory automation solutions
and the right mix of manufacturing tools and philosophies including Lean and
Six Sigma to our operational improvement and cost reduction programs. I look

flexibility and quality,” added Rogers.
Previously, Rogers served as vice president, operations at American Computer
Development, Inc. (ACDI). He was earlier associated with JDS Uniphase
Corporation, Andrew Corporation, REMEC and Hughes Network Systems in a range
of executive-level operations and quality management positions. He was also
associated with DH Technology, Electronic Surface Mounted Industries, Inc.,
Infomag and Applied Magnetics in operations and plant management capacities.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in mathematics and business economics from
EPIC Technologies, LLC is a premier specialty electronics engineering and
manufacturing company in the high-mix, low-to-medium volume segment of the EMS
industry. EPIC's services consist primarily of the manufacture of complex
printed circuit board assemblies and complete systems integration. EPIC
provides turnkey services including board layout, test development, prototype
testing, printed circuit board assembly, and box build to customers in the
medical, energy, communications, industrial equipment and automotive markets.
