First Tennessee Bank Expanding Mid-Atlantic Region

Relocated Office in Raleigh Will Accommodate New Bankers, Enhanced Services

RALEIGH, N.C., March 12, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Building on its success
outside of its home state, First Tennessee Bank will expand its presence and
enhance its services in the North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia
markets.As a result, First Tennessee, a subsidiary of First Horizon National
Corp. (NYSE:FHN), will move its Raleigh office to a larger and more prominent
location.

On an organizational level, the bank recently created the Mid-Atlantic Region
to join its existing regions of West, Middle and East Tennessee.John Fox,
executive vice president, leads the new region with offices in Winston-Salem,
Charlotte, Raleigh and Richmond, VA. "John and his team have done a great job
of growing our business and building new relationships in the Mid-Atlantic,"
said David Popwell, president of banking for First Tennessee, "and this

there."

The new Raleigh office, led by Senior Vice President Ken Reece, will support
expanded services and new relationships in its business lines of private
client, wealth management, corporate and commercial lending and commercial
real estate.First Tennessee will add jobs to manage increased business,

First Tennessee expects to move into its new space at 1122 Oberlin Rd. in mid
April.The building, which will bear "First Tennessee Bank" signage, offers
room for up to 10 additional employees, including a teller position.
