BETHESDA, Md., March 11, 2013 /PRNewswire/ --American Capital Agency Corp.
(Nasdaq: AGNC) ("AGNC" or the "Company") announced today that its Board of
Directors has declared a cash dividend on its 8.000% Series A Cumulative
Redeemable Preferred Stock (the "Series A Preferred Stock") (Nasdaq: AGNCP) of
$0.50 per share for the first quarter 2013. The dividend is payable on April
15, 2013 to preferred shareholders of record as of April 1, 2013, with an
ex-dividend date of March 28, 2013.
